Our commitment to holistic pet care drives us to provide treatments and all natural products to help keep your pet happier and healthier for years to come.

Canine Massage Therapy (Myotherapy)

Canine Massage is a gentle, non invasive hands on treatment that begins with gentle soothing strokes that softens the skin and muscles. As the massage progresses and the dog becomes more relaxed deeper muscle work is applied to break down adhesions, increase  blood flow, eliminate toxins and relief for built up aches and pains.

Poor diet, unsuitable exercise, over-exertion, trauma, stress, accident, injury, past surgeries, skin allergies, medications or arthritis can make the most agreeable dog unhappy, grumpy and in pain.

Myotherapy is also a great form of rehabilitation, particularly post surgery. A good Myotherapy treatment plan can assist your pet to recover and regain normality sooner.

We all know how much better we feel after a massage and how our aches and pains are relieved and how much more relaxed we feel. Myotherapy works the same for animals.

Our therapist has a strong love for animals and natural therapies and has over 20 years experience working with dogs and cats.

Bowen Therapy

Bowen therapy involves the gentle application of a series of cross fibre movements on muscles, tendons and ligaments to release pain, spasm and stiffness of movement and to increase blood and lymph flow. Bowen therapy allows neurological impulses to be sent to the brain resulting in immediate responses of muscle relaxation and pain reduction and is effective for any muscular, skeletal or nerve imbalance. Bowen therapy optimises health and treats a range of acute and chronic issues

Craniosacral Therapy (cranial osteopathy) is a gentle therapy involving light finger pressure to release tension and harmonise the central nervous system to optimise body movement and correct imbalances. Within the dog/cats body are various rhythms and pulses that influence their physical and psychological health. Craniosacral Therapy works with the rhythm and pulse of the cranial sacral system by gently realigning the bones of the cranium and the sacrum to remove any tensions. Treatments are relaxing and beneficial as they facilitate the body’s natural ability to heal itself

Reiki is a holistic energy healing system, treating the whole and addressing problems on all levels; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. By stimulating the energy to flow properly as it is supposed to, the natural ability of the body to heal itself will be able to function again and the physical body will recover. Reiki healing is able to not only stimulate the energy to flow properly but also to cleanse the energy within and around the body to speed up the healing process.

Canine Dental Hygiene – Sedation Free

Did you know that Dogs are at the risk of some of the same dental problems that affect humans, such as swollen gums and periodontal disease? Many dogs will suffer from periodontal disease from the time they turn 2-3 years old.

Dogs aren't  known for having fresh minty breath and when plaque and tartar build-up on a dog’s teeth over a longer period of time you may notice your dog has bad breath or even difficulty eating. Often this would be due to gum disease or possibly a decayed tooth. Regular check ups will ensure that if gum disease does develop it can be addressed early enough before it causes irreparable damage.

Traditionally dental treatment would be done under a general anaesthetic but with any anaesthetic there is an element of risk and there is also quiet an expensive cost that goes along with this form of treatment.

We can offer a safe, relaxed and holistic approach to having your dogs teeth cleaned. The treatment is all done Sedation free eliminating the risks and side effects of an anaesthetic. There is no stress or pain for your dog. Treatment takes approximately 90 minutes which includes the initial oral examination. We recommend that an exam and clean be performed 2 x per year for optimum oral health.

Our Doctor has 17 years experience as a pet dental hygienist for oral teeth cleaning, gum treatment and overall health in oral care the natural way. His knowledge of natural Medicinal treatment enhances his sedation free teeth cleaning ensuring an extremely professional outcome for your dog with no chemicals or sedation. He will ensure your dog is comfortable and relaxed throughout the treatment.

Maintaining good oral hygiene from a young age can add up to 5 more years to their life so lets preserve those pearly whites
